I have no idea why Canada didn't allow Weaver/Poje to do one of the dance segments. Canada was so far ahead after the SD that even if W/P finished 5th in the FD (which wouldn't have happened anyway) Canada would still have won gold easily. That had to have been very hurtful for W/P.
OTOH, I do understand why the Shibs wanted to do both segments after two poor FD performances at the GPF and Nationals,they wanted to put in an improved FD performance before the individual dance event.
