this is the first Canadian GPF in the west coast. Any idea which stadium has been put forward? Doug Mitchell or Pacific Coliseum?Jonas wrote:While Vancouver is definitely on my "To Visit List" I was secretly hoping for Eastern Canada! I've always wanted to visit Quebec City and I almost threw my financial cautions to the winds for the 2011-2012 Finals. I enjoyed Ottawa for Skate Canada '08 and have always wanted to go back. Maybe 2020 Worlds?!?!
Your thoughts...

It would interesting to know what makes countries that do not have current top level skaters bid for worlds. Croatia, Sweden and the Netherlands have not had elite level skaters in quite sometime. It just makes me wonder how well tickets would sell in those nations.
Quebec Section announced it will be at Bell Center which is in downtown Montreal while the one in Laval is Place Bell.Nahanni wrote:Montreal (Laval) has the provisional 2020 Worlds allocation.
Quebec Section made the announcement and Skate Canada has too, although I'm told the latter was an unofficial announcement.
