I liked the way Tanith White laid out the relative point values of the ladies programs, so I'd like to pose a challenge: If I were in charge of changes to figure skating, I would limit the arms over head jumps to two. I would require that at least one combination and two single jumping passes be performed in the first half of the program. Given those changes, I'd like for someone who is more conversant with the numbers than I am to evaluate how these changes would have affected the programs of the gold and silver medalists compared to the bronze in the ladies competition.
