I think it's only the events that are not being shown on network tv that are being streamed internationally for free. So, the senior events, which will all be broadcast nationally on TSN, are not available for streaming.
But, don't hold that against Canada, Virginia!

Reports out that Gabby Daleman has returned to her Rhapsody in Blue free skate from last season for this weekend's Canadians. She's also apparently suffering from strep, not the ideal.

				Strep? Gosh, poor girl.
But at least she can get it out of the way before the Olympics. Better to have strep now rather than a month from now.
And strep responds to antibiotics, so hopefully she'll kick it quickly!
Wondering what happened with her and the quad? Wasn't she going to go home after the GP Final and learn a quad?

I hadn't heard that. She definitely has capacity for it. Her 3T/3T is the best in the world, IMO, women or men!

I would love to be watching this, however CTV is showing it only on 2 TSN channels not part of my package, does not look like it will be on the main CTV channel at all. Poor show. You'd think they would make more of an effort since this is an Olympic year, and so on. Thank goodness CBC has the Olympics. CTV seems to be showing only NFL. Very patriotic. However I DID get to see the Americans last weekend on the main NBC channel. Such a pity we can't see our own guys. Irony, anyone?

What was REALLY strange was when Chan's elements first came up on the live page. The first element was displayed as QUAD AXEL.
I thought hmmm was that why Chan was hiding away, working on a 4A? Didn't make much sense, considering his problems with the 3A.
Turns out whoever was entering the data was doing a little leg-pulling. It was really a 4t and he fell on it.

I was able to stream the Pairs Short programs from that web site down here in the good ol' US of A.
I'll say it again, I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE Canada!!!!!!!
I specifically wanted to see Liubov and Dylan's Phil Collins SP, which really grabbed me during the GP season. The announcer said, " ... skating to Something in the Air by Phil Collins". Then the music began, and it was definitely not Phil Collins! It was Tango Jalousie. Seems they switched back to last year's short without telling the broadcast folks. Kind of funny.

Any error on the first twizzle in the series automatically assigns no level and the entire element is scored as zero. In this case, with a -1 for the fall.
That mistake cost them at least 8 points. It will be almost impossible to make that up in the FD.

Better that Andrew fall here than in Pyeongchang.
This is my first time seeing Soucisse and Firus. I really like their smooth, fast flow over the ice. They also have my favorite short dance music of any dance team I’ve seen this year. They are a very promising team.

Wow! Now I have two Canadian ice dance teams to root for. S/F and G/P. Maybe one day in the future we'll see these two teams along with my favorite U.S. team, H/B, competing for gold.
