Russian Open Skates

Has anyone seen anything already?

I`ve seen some programs. Medvedeva looks to me more of the same. Tuktamysheva looks steady and regular. Loved the choreography of Bobrova/Solovyev. But, overall, I think the programs are very, very, very boring.

What impressed me was how Ilinykh and Shibnev are skating together. For a team formed less than 2 months ago, they look nice, although they`re still far from their mates.

Missed Anna Pogorilaya and Stolbova/Klimov.

I watched only few skaters so far and Liza T. was one of them. Yes, she lookes very well prepared and strong for this early time. Easily done clean high jumps came back. I have a feeling that this season will be her's and she will be on the podiums on most competitions where she'll come.
